About My Clients
Building a collaborative relationship in therapy is the single most important factor in therapeutic success. This relationship will be the keystone for facilitating your personal growth and understanding of yourself not just intellectually, but also emotionally. Over time, an internalized healing space forms where you can recover access to parts of your true self. Speaking freely without unnecessary self-censorship may be simple, but it is not easy. I encourage you to try.
My Background
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I am psychoanalytically trained through the Colorado Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, the New York Center for the Advancement of Group Studies, and the Chicago Institute for Clinical Social Work. My treatment approach is informed by relational and classical psychoanalysis, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, somatic psychology, contemplative psychotherapy, and existential philosophy.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
Through experiencing the freedom of talking in an atmosphere of radical acceptance, we liberate powerful emotional states that help to make deep and lasting changes. When fully understood, painful psychological symptoms dissolve over time. This increases your ability to live creatively. I offer individual and group psychoanalytic psychotherapy for people seeking freedom from their painful thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Please do not hesitate to email me to schedule a free consultation to learn more about how this process works and to see if we are a good fit in working together. I wish you all the best in your search.
